About our Collection
Our Collection contains information about the people, places and events that have shaped the history of Cottesloe, Peppermint Grove and Mosman Park.
These include:
- Books, reports and newsletters such as the Civic Centre News and Mosman Park Review. Most of these are listed in the library catalogue or you can browse under keywords such as Cottesloe history.
- Photographs – over 3500 images of local people, places and events viewable online.
- Oral histories – interviews with local residents sharing their stories and memories.
- Community News file – newspaper clippings
- Digital interpretations
- Mobile Applications
Most of the material is not for loan but may be used within the library and photocopied.

If you’re a budding movie maker and have community themed videos or photos you think may be relevant for our collection, send them along – if suitable, we will add them to our site for everyone to enjoy.

If you have any old books, photos or other memorabilia about the area that you would like to share please contact us. We will scan your documents and return them to you. Allowing us to scan them will ensure they are preserved and accessible for future generations.
