baby rhyme time is back 2017

Our preschool programmes are back!

Baby Rhyme Time (babies and toddlers 0-2 years)

Come along for stimulating books, songs, and rhymes for babies and their caregivers. Stay afterward and enjoy a coffee and chat with other grown-ups, with toys for the babies.
This is a drop-in event … no bookings necessary (runs for 25minutes).

Baby Rhyme Time sessions are held in the library every:
Monday: 10.30am
Thursday: 10.00am

Preschool Storytime – Free fun!

All two to four year olds and their carers are welcome to join us each week for 25 minutes of stories, songs, rhymes, and afterwards and a simple craft activity. Preschool story time is a special sharing time with your child as well as being great fun.

This is a drop-in event … no bookings necessary

Story time sessions are held in the library every:
Tuesday: 10:30am.
Friday:     10:30am

Competition winners 2016

A big thank you to everyone who entered this year’s Young Writers Creative Writing Competition in 2016!

We were thrilled to receive entries from all the local and surrounding schools; including,

Cottesloe Primary School, North Cottesloe Primary, Iona Presentation Primary School, Presbyterian Ladies’ College, St Hilda’s Mosman Park Primary, Dalkeith Primary, Scotch College, John XXIII College, Shenton College, MLC, Christchurch Grammar, Rosialie Primary, Mount Claremont Primary School, and Beehive Montessori.

It’s was exciting to see all this hard work kids went to with their short stories. We had it all this year funny, scary, poignant and intelligent, it was a pleasure to read them all.
