Friends of the Library

Friends of the Library is a group of enthusiastic library members who are interested in supporting and promoting the Library at The Grove and strengthening the Library’s links with the community.

The Friends aim to:

• encourage community awareness of the resources, programs and activities available at the Library at the Grove
• promote activities for volunteers
• raise funds for the Library for specific, agreed projects
• act as an advocate and lobbyist on behalf of the library and its users.

The Friends:

• run regular booksales that raise funds for the library
• sponsor talks and activities within the Library
• keep you informed about current activities and events
• assist at library functions.

How do I become a Friend?

To join, simply drop into the library and complete a Membership Application Form. Annual fees, which are due 1 January, are:

• Concession: $2.00
• Regular: $5.00
