The 2012 Literature Prize Now & Then: the life, the land, the people of Cottesloe, Peppermint Grove, Mosman Park is now open for submissions.
The Towns of Cottesloe and Mosman Park and Shire of Peppermint Grove invite you to enter your written memoirs into the 2012 Literature Prize before Sunday 27 May 2012 for a chance to win up to $500 cash!
This award is intended to provide an opportunity for people of all ages to write creatively about the present or past history of Cottesloe, Peppermint Grove or Mosman Park.
Categories include Open, Local History Award and school aged categories for Years 8-12, 5-7 and 1-4. There are subcategories for poetry and prose. A combination of both words and images are encouraged but not essential. A new award for the best local resident entry has been added to encourage local writers to enter the competition.
Entry is free and open to everyone. Entries including the signed entry form must reach The Grove Library by 4.00pm Sunday 27 May 2011.
