The Grove has a subscription to the popular database Ancestry.com plus free access to a number of other useful web based sources of information. The Grove Library has two dedicated computer terminals both with access to Ancestry.com. To book a terminal please call the Community History Library on 9286 8699.

Special Events: Memoirs for your family
The Grove Library, Nedlands Library Service and the Royal Western Australian Historical Society (RWAHS) will host a series of workshops on the second Wednesday of each month for ten weeks, commencing February 2012.
Each session will take about an hour to explore.
They won’t give you all the answers, but will give you an overview of things to bear in mind – and where to get help. We’ll also have a tip or two to help you get the best out of your computer – Microsoft Word shortcuts, databases to try – you ask and we’ll show you.
Come for all or just one of the workshops. Afterwards you can stay for a cuppa and swap stories on your progress.
