Entries must portray the life, the people and/or the environment of Mosman Park. Winner’s artworks are purchased (prize money is acquisitive) to become part of the Town’s art collection and works will be displayed in the council’s administration building, providing an ongoing record of the Town’s history.

Entries close 4pm Friday 20 April 2012. Entry forms are availabe at the library. For more information or to enter online, visit the Town of Mosman Park website.

This award is intended to provide an opportunity for people of all ages to write creatively about the present or past history of Cottesloe, Peppermint Grove or Mosman Park.

Categories include Open, Local History Award and school aged categories for Years 8-12, 5-7 and 1-4. There are subcategories for poetry and prose. A combination of both words and images are encouraged but not essential. A new award for the best local resident entry has been added to encourage local writers to enter the competition.

Entry is free and open to everyone. Entries including the signed entry form must reach The Grove Library by 4.00pm Sunday 27 May 2011.

Baby Rhyme Time
Share rhymes, songs and books with your baby. Suitable for babies 2 months to 2 years.
Baby Rhyme Time sessions will be held in the library on Mondays at 10.30am and Thursdays at 10:00am
